Jan 2010 Total Eclipse of the SunIn January 2010 there will be a Total Eclipse of the Sun. Kembu Campsite and Kembu Cottages are ideally sited on the East facing wall of the Great Rift Valley in Kenya almost directly under the central line of the central line of the eclipse's track accross East Africa & The Indian Ocean. With our high altitude climate and crisp clear mornings this is the perfect spot to enjoy this amazing natural wonder! The total solar eclipse is due to happen soon after sun rise on 15th January and will last about eight and a half minutes!
